KSingh was retained by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation and a prime consultant to provide design engineering and surveying services for the rehabilitation of the northern and southern segments of the IH 794 Hoan Bridge in the City of Milwaukee.
The scope of the project consisted of concrete overlay, bridge deck replacement, and the replacement of numerous structures along the urban project corridor. KSingh staff was not only responsible for several segments of bridge deck, but for also seven sign structures. KSingh staff worked out of the project office for over one year. Our team consisted of two Project Engineers, and 3 Staff Engineers. The team worked on several units of the bridge.
KSingh’s survey group provided field quality control checks for the aerial mapping of the 2.5-mile long project corridor. They also provided a utility location survey for the corridor as well. This included subsurface inspections on more than one hundred manholes.
KSingh led the hazardous materials assessment by conducting hazardous material investigations on over 20 sites along the project corridor.
