KSingh was retained by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation in cooperation with the Federal Highway Administration under a federally funded program to rehabilitate the roadway pavement and nine structures on IH 43 in Ozaukee County.

KSingh completed grading, base aggregate, concrete pavement 11-inch, HMA pavement type E-1, concrete masonry and overlay, painting, beam guard, and the structural rehabilitation of several bridges, permanent signing and marking, erosion control, traffic control, and inciden tals.

The project also involved 16 miles of shoulder repair and compaction using a pilot program, which is widely used today because of its success.

The key challenges for the project was maintaining traffic control, maintaining a sound public involvement plan, and communicating with Ozaukee County.
